Content Author Privileges
Summary : This article provides explanations for Content Author privileges.
Privileges determine what Easysite functionality is available to System User, such as editing pages or creating Forms.
To assign Content Author privileges to a Group go to [Administration] > [People] > [Groups].
Select the appropriate group, select the Privileges tab, and select [Content Author] from the Category drop-down list. 
Select the appropriate category and check to assign the relevant privileges.
Content Author Privileges
| Privilege | Description |
| Edit HTML in Content Editor | Allows users to edit HTML. Note: HTML editor must be installed via the Modules interface to enable this functionality. |
| Author Content | Allows users to edit pages. Note: this privilege also presents the Administration button, allowing users access to Administration. |
| Create Pages | Allows users to add pages to the site. |
| Create Page Alternates | Allows users to create page alternates. |
| Change Page Categorisation | Allows user to categorise pages. |
| Allow Setting of Page Go Premium Dates | Allows the user to set Go Premium Dates. |
| Share Content | Allows the user to share content. |
| Consume Content | Allows the user to consume content. |
